Position Overview

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a distinguished law firm in search of a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Glendale, CA. The firm is known for its commitment to excellence and providing top-tier legal services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation support, excellent organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation.
• Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including document production and interrogatories.
• Schedule and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials, ensuring all necessary materials are available.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
• Prepare and file legal documents with the court, adhering to all procedural requirements.
• Support attorneys in case management and strategy development.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the firm's professional standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and court filing processes.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, during standard business hours.
